POWERBOND RACE PERFORMANCE OVERDRIVE BALANCER FOR HSV CLUBSPORT R8 GEN-F LSA SUPERCHARGED 6.2L V8

PowerBond™ by Dayco® Race Performance Balancers are designed with a unique combination of material and castingsproviding the maximum strength and durability of bonded dampening rubber. Each balancer is dynamically balanced for asmooth operation. Increasing the diameter of the pulley also increases the speed of the supercharger leading to an increase inboost. This helps reduce the need to lower the diameter of the blower pulley which would otherwise result in less belt wrap.

  • Designed especially for high revving and high horsepower street and race applications.
  • Easy to read computer etched timing marks.
  • CNC machined AISI 1045 forged steel hub bonded to an equally strong steel inertia ring.
  • Steel inertia ring protects against forward and backward movement.

Notes:

  • This modified balancer changes the geometry of the original belt drive. Dayco ® recommends this balancer to be installed by a professional technician.
  • For overdrive balancers that enable 22 percent or more overdrive boost, an idler pulley relocation bracket is required for extra clearance. This can be purchased through another listing.
  • The LS9 balancer runs the supercharger on the main belt drive (11PK belt) so it is different to the LSA. These kits are not compatible.
